Speed up your browsing experience with Google Public DNS!
Posted by Steven in Tips & Tricks Wednesday, 20 January 2010 04:24 No Comments
Recently I was having trouble navigating to certain websites that I hosted. I knew the sites weren’t down to code issues so I called my hosting provider and asked them if there were problems on their end. There wasn’t and through troubleshooting, I discovered that my ISP (Cox Cable) was having issues with their DNS servers finding these websites.
I was told about switching to Google Public DNS. I followed the steps and switched my DNS servers from Cox to Google.
Problem solved! It appears Google spends more time ensuring their DNS servers are more reliable and up-to-date. Staying with Cox was keeping me from administrating my websites, as well as view a few others.
Thanks Google

How to add an HTML signature in Outlook 2007
Posted by Steven in Email Design and Management, Misc Saturday, 2 January 2010 17:38 No Comments
Missing your HTML signature in Outlook 2007? Here’s your simple solution:
You just need to edit the HTML signature file at C:\Documents & settings\(your username)\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures
Create a HTML file and simply choose it in Outlook.
Done!
NOTE: If your files are hidden, you will not see Application Data. Unhide the files and folders to see this.
